If it is your first suit, dark navy or mid-grey wool is often a safe choice because it works in many situations.

Do not choose fabric by colour alone

Fabric weight, weave and surface matter a lot. A shiny fabric looks more formal, a matte surface is easier for everyday wear and a textured fabric can make the suit more relaxed.

Fit does not mean tightness

A well-fitting suit allows movement. The jacket should not pull at the button, the collar should sit against the neck and the trousers should stay in place without constant adjustment.

Also consider shirts and shoes

A suit looks complete only as a whole. If the suit is made for a wedding, the shirt, tie, pocket square and shoes should be considered at the same time. For work, make sure the suit works with your current shirts and shoes.

Allow enough time

Made-to-measure requires planning, measurements, production and finishing if needed. For weddings and important occasions, start early so decisions do not have to be rushed.

A first made-to-measure suit is easier to choose when purpose, colour, fabric and timing are considered in advance.

[382
387,389,386
post-11162","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-mittatilaus","tag-dandy-tailor","tag-mittatilaus","tag-pukeutuminen
["GET
